Point Washington State Forest is over 15,000 acres of unspoiled Florida in its natural state. Placement between the bay and the gulf makes it an ecologically interesting place. Here, dolphins and alligators share the same waters, and the Point Washington State Forest is where wild boars, deer, bears and raccoons make their home in the scrub palm that grows under the tall pine trees. • Eden Gardens: The focal point of this park is the beautifully renovated, two-story house with elegant white columns and wrap around porch. In a setting of moss-draped live oaks, the 1897 mansion recalls a prosperous era before the virgin forests of longleaf pine and cypress were exhausted in this part of the state. In 1963, Lois Maxon bought and renovated the home, creating a showplace for her family heirlooms and antiques. Visitors can come and enjoy a guided tour of the Wesley House, meander through the gardens, bring a picnic or go fishing off the dock in Tucker Bayou.

Dotted with unique beach communities, resorts, beach bars and 25,000 acres of protected state forests and rare dune lakes, 30A is the ultimate scenic drive.

We will also take you to one of my favorite places in South Walton, Eden Gardens. The focal point of Eden Garden's is the beautifully renovated, two-story house with elegant white columns and wrap around porch. In a setting of moss-draped live oaks, the views are like something out of a storybook. You will follow one of our guides in one of our rental jeeps.
